When a nurse gets paid more than a professor: What you need to know about nurses

Nursing professor Anthony Proton is paid about $150,000 more than the other doctors in his profession, according to data published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

The figures, compiled by the Nurses Association, showed that in 2013 Proton earned about $200,000 while the other members of the prestigious American Medical Group earned about a third less.

“It’s very interesting, it’s a good sign,” said Andrew Cohen, a professor of nursing and medical economics at Columbia University who was not involved in the study.

“In the past, you have this sort of weird dichotomy between the rich and the poor, where the rich are paying less and the middle class is paying more.

But these are really good numbers.

This is a big deal.”

The report, titled “The Rise of the Elite in Nursing,” says that the average salary of an American nurse in 2015 was about $92,000, while the median salary for American medical professionals was $73,000.

In the first quarter of 2017, American nurses were paid about 15 percent more than their peers in the United Kingdom and Germany.

Proton, whose new book “Bathroom Wars: The Untold Story of a Bathroom Revolution,” details the struggles of the profession, said he was surprised to see his compensation go up so much.

“I think that’s a sign of a really high demand, and a good number of nurses are making good money, but the problem is that the demand for nurses is high.

We need more people to come in and work in the field,” Proton said.

“And it is getting worse.”

Proton’s salary was about 7 percent higher than the average for all nurses, according a spokesperson for the Association for Nurses United.

Protons book is the first to look at the pay of the top 10 percent of American nurses, who earned $1.5 million in 2013.

“A number of recent reports have documented that many nurses are earning well above the median for their profession, with some earning even more than top earners,” said Sarah L. Shaffer, the president of the Nursers’ Association.

“However, these numbers are misleading.

They may reflect pay trends at the bottom of the pay scale and may even underestimate how much nurses make.

A closer look at these numbers, along with other data, will help us understand how the profession is changing and will help nurses make informed decisions about their careers.”

The top 10 per cent of American nursing professionals, which includes medical doctors, account for a quarter of the U.S. workforce, and they account for the highest salary in the country, the study found.

The top 20 per cent earned $14.3 million, the lowest median of any group.

The study also found that in the last decade, nurse compensation has increased nearly 50 percent, while salaries for other professions have decreased.

The median nurse salary rose from $80,000 to $110,000 between 2001 and 2014, while salary for doctors fell by 20 percent to $100,000 in that same period.

The numbers come as the American nursing profession grapples with a shortage of primary care nurses, which have been a growing problem.

In 2014, the American Nurses Caring Society reported that the shortage of nursing-related specialists was a “major health care shortage” with the nation’s primary care hospitals reporting a shortage in primary care beds as of May.
